Repair the existing system
Correct a serviceable component or connection when the overall system remains sound.
- Cartridge, seals, and supply lines
- Fixture mounting and connections
- Water pressure and replacement fit
Family-owned · Serving North Shore homes since 1981
Spencer repairs and installs kitchen and bathroom faucets for homeowners in Peabody and across the North Shore. For a dripping, loose, leaking, or low-pressure faucet, we determine whether the cause is at the aerator, cartridge, supply connection, shutoff, fixture, or a broader water-pressure issue before explaining the options.

Start with what you are seeing
Whether the problem affects one faucet, one temperature, or several fixtures changes the likely cause. The technician verifies the pattern before recommending repair or replacement.
What we check
We compare hot and cold flow, verify the shutoffs and supply lines, and inspect the faucet components so a whole-home pressure problem is not assumed.
One clear service visit
The visit follows one clear path from the first conversation through testing and review of the approved work.
Share the symptoms, address, and timing so the team can prepare for the faucet repair and installation request.
The technician checks the affected equipment or piping and looks for the underlying cause.
We explain the findings, scope, and applicable pricing before you approve work.
The approved work is completed, tested, and reviewed with you before the visit ends.
Compare the next steps
Condition, access, safety, compatibility, and the needs of the home determine which approach makes sense.
Correct a serviceable component or connection when the overall system remains sound.
Install a compatible replacement when a component is worn, damaged, or unsuitable.
Plan a broader improvement when capacity, condition, or household needs call for it.
Cost and scope
The exact price comes after the system is evaluated. These are the factors that most often change the work required.
Similar symptoms can come from different failures, so diagnosis comes before a recommendation.
Age, material, equipment condition, and compatibility determine whether repair is practical.
Location, clearances, finishes, and the route to the work area affect labor and restoration.
Repair, component replacement, and broader upgrades have different scopes. You choose before work begins.
Common questions
Direct answers for low flow at one sink, a dripping faucet, or a replacement project.
If nearby fixtures have normal flow, compare hot and cold at that faucet. Low flow on one side can involve its shutoff, supply line, cartridge, or debris inside the faucet; low flow on both sides can still be local to the fixture. If several fixtures are affected, the problem may be outside the faucet.
A single-sink problem usually points first to the faucet, aerator, shutoff valves, flexible supply lines, or debris at the cartridge. The fact that other fixtures work normally makes a whole-home supply problem less likely, but the exact restriction still has to be located.
If hot water is weak at several fixtures while cold flow is normal, start with water-heater and hot-water piping diagnosis. If both hot and cold pressure are low throughout the home, a broader water-supply or water-line evaluation may be more appropriate.
